Cycloidal positive displacement pumps are particularly suitable for conveying and transporting low, medium, high viscosity liquids.

Cycloidal internal gear pumps are particularly suitable for conveying and transporting low, medium, high viscosity liquids.

Important is the fact that the liquid is pumped without the slightest pulsation, with continuous flow, all this to the advantage of the pump because valves, fittings and pipes are not subject to harmful vibrations.

The pumps of the NE series are characterized by the construction with chair support that allows the pump body to rotate, with an angle of 90°, to allow a different positioning of the delivery and suction ports.

Technical Features

  • Flow rate proportional to the number of revolutions; when the pressure varies the flow rate remains almost constant.
  • Self-priming and reversible: can rotate in both directions without altering its performance.
  • They can pump, indifferently, liquids at low medium and high viscosities, keeping the same gear pair, without any knocking or emulsions of the pumped product.

With the same flow rate, our N and NE series positive displacement pumps are more compact than conventional external gear pumps.

Functional Features

The rotation of two gears, internal to each other, separated by a crescent (flow separator) generates a constant flow without pulsation that does not cause the pumped liquid to beat. The separation of the teeth generates the suction, their rejoining the delivery.

The cycloidal pumps are reversible, i.e. they operate in both directions of rotation, maintaining their operating characteristics unchanged and self-priming up to 7 ml of water column with a maximum pressure of 10 kg/cmq.
The flow rate of the produced range varies from 1 mc/h to 110 mc/h.

With the same flow rate, Idropres pumps are more compact than traditional external gear pumps.
