The epicycloidal volumetric gear pumps type "E" are manufactured in accordance with the following characteristics:

• the "Series E" are self priming pump design and can run both clockwise and counter-clockwise without any performance modification;
• the "series E" can pump without any problem, liquids with low, medium and high viscosity without changing the pump gears;
• the flow is obtained without any liquid shaking, thus means no liquid emulsion problem.

The liquid is pumped without any pulsation like constant stream. It gives a considerable advantage to the plant, because the pipes connections and the valves are not submitted to deleterious vibration.
The epicycloidal gear pumps have a low peripheral rotor speed, which means a pump longer life.
In conclusion, it is not important to point out the fact of easy inspection and maintenance.
Further regulations can be made without removing the pump from pipes and motor.

The rotation of two gears, one inside the other, separated by a mincing knife-shaped device, acting as flow separator, produces and uniform and pulsation free flow which doesn't cause any beating in the pumped liquid. View the 2D animation.
Suction is produced by the separation of teeth; delivery is produced by the rejoining.
cycloidal pumps are reversible, that is to say they can work in both directions of rotation without losing their operations properties.

Main uses

Cycloidal pumps have a wide range of application. You can use them for pumping all liquids without solid particles or sand in them and also for viscous liquids.
